Upload any clear, front-facing photo where your face is visible. Natural lighting works best. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, or photos where your face is partially obscured. Selfies, ID photos, and casual snapshots all work well.
FedShot works best for LinkedIn, agency directories, speaker bios, internal profiles, and official communications where your office allows user-supplied portraits. It is not a replacement for agency-captured PIV enrollment photos, and USAJobs resumes should not include photos.
Most headshots are generated in under 60 seconds. You'll receive 6 variations per generation round, with different lighting and compositions to choose from.
Credits start at $9.99 for a 3-pack or $24.99 for a 10-pack (best value). Each credit generates 6 high-resolution headshot variations. You can customize background, attire style, lighting, and add professional details like lapel pins. All images are yours to download and use.
Absolutely! If you find a headshot you love but want slight variations, use the "Refine" feature to generate more variations based on that specific image. Each refinement uses one credit.
Your privacy is our priority. Uploaded photos are processed for generation, and generated images are stored temporarily so you can review, download, or unlock them. They are automatically deleted after 30 days, never used for AI training, and never sold or shared.
If you're not satisfied with your headshots, contact us within 48 hours and we'll work with you to regenerate them or provide a full refund. We want you to have headshots you're proud to use.
